IGX is set to expand its focus on gaming cosplay at its third edition in Mumbai this November.
IGX Game Face, India’s largest cosplay initiative focused purely on gaming cosplay, will kick off well before the expo, with plenty of activity online and across social media in the lead-up to the show.
Here’s what cosplay artists can look forward to from IGX Game Face this year:
Weekly cosplay features and monthly polls
Every Monday, IGX’s social media platforms will feature the work of one Indian gaming cosplay artist. At the end of each month, we will run a poll on Facebook asking the IGX community to vote for their favourite featured cosplay, who will win games, gift vouchers, and other exciting prizes.
Online cosplay competition
Cosplay artists from across India – even those who won’t be able to make it to IGX – can participate in the IGX Game Face online cosplay competition, which will take place in the lead-up to IGX. The winners, who be picked by a special jury, will win exciting prizes, and all finalists will also be part of a public vote to select the Popular Choice winner.
IGX Game Face
At the big show on November 18 and 19, IGX will play host to the top gaming cosplays in the country. Two competitions will be conducted – one on each day – with exciting prizes to be won on each day.
Registrations for IGX Game Face will kick off in September on gamesexpo.in.
